U.S. Ambassadors’ Fund Program has funded Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) to implement “Digital Preservation of Pakistan’s Heritage.” Under this venture, work is being completed to digitally preserve endangered historic sites in KP, Punjab and Sindh.

The opening ceremony of the project was held in Lahore on February 27, 2015. Maggie Schoch, USAID Deputy Mission Director for Punjab, cut the ribbon at the ceremony. She also gave a brief talk at the event. The event was also attended by Syed Babar Ali, Pro Chancellor & Founding member of LUMS, Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Vice Chancellor of LUMS and Kamran Lashari, DG WALL City Department, Punjab and students.
