Women’s Issues

The Ambassador’s Fund aims to improve the status of women through strengthened governance, rule of law, harnessing economic opportunities, and accessibility to facilities and services. Interventions were designed to address gender disparities, resource constraints, and social barriers which women face on a daily basis. The fund resulted in training programs to serve GBV victims, improve women’s courthouse and waiting room facilities, promote gender sensitization for court personnel; and, supporting women entrepreneurs to develop business skills. This is an exclusive Ambassador’s Fund thematic area.
